London, December 11th 2024, – iPLATO, a Huma Company, is pleased to announce its new contract with Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Having commenced in September, primary care practices within the ICB region are now benefiting from an advanced suite of tools within iPLATO digital GP suite, which includes Connect+ bundle, Triage, remote consultation tool Toolbar and more. Practices will also receive unlimited SMS credits within the fair usage policy.
Kieran Gallagher, Digital Programme Lead at Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB, commented “We are looking forward to seeing the impact of iPLATO’s Platform Premium + on both practices and patient care. As an ICB, it was essential for us to select a solution that is financially sustainable.”
iPLATO’s core messaging product, Connect, supports automated bulk messaging health campaigns, with its additional modules, such as Toolbar, Triage and Patient Questionnaires, resulting in reduced call volumes, fewer unnecessary appointments, and better data collection through a wide range of patient forms.
Based on patient communication spending amounts obtained for 2022/2023, ICBs would save up to £24m in total, if switching to iPLATO’s all-inclusive pricing model.
Expenditure control across iPLATO’s digital GP suite of products is built into its core, simplifying budget planning and easier management.
Barrie Holding, NHS Partner Manager, added,
“The integrated features of our Digital GP platform are designed to improve patient care and to provide a financially sustainable solution for the NHS. Our upgraded partnership with Lancashire and South Cumbria means we can support the area to deliver effective, efficient healthcare at an affordable and sustainable price point.”
