There are two ways to join a video call as the clinician: first click on the video icon;
The 1st method is to click ‘Create a Video Consultation’ and send the patient an invitation.
You can now click ‘Join the call’ button and also copy the link to share with another clinician.
If you are not a user that has sent the invitation and need to join the call, you will need access to the default link
- The invitation sender can click Copy link button and forward it to yourself
- Click link, or if not enabled, copy and paste the link into a browser URL and hit enter
- You will then enter video waiting room, able to join the call once admitted
The 2nd method is to click on ‘Start an instant room’ which will open a room immediately and give you the option of copying the link to share with another patient or clinician so they can also join.
